Laramie Interfaith Receives $34,000 From Sally Dieterich Living Trust

TL;DR

Laramie Interfaith would like to thank the Sally C. P. Dieterich Living Trust, and trustees Lewis and Donna Bagby, for the generous donation of $34,000 to Laramie Interfaith

Laramie Interfaith would like to thank the Sally C. P. Dieterich Living Trust, and trustees Lewis and Donna Bagby, for the generous donation of $34,000 to Laramie Interfaith. The donation was made in early 2022 from the trust of Sally Dieterich, who passed away peacefully on August 1, 2021.

Sally Dieterich was a member of the Laramie community beginning in 1959, where she pursued her calling of teaching kindergarten at Washington, Slade, and Nellie Iles schools, successively.

"She was charming, smart, and lots of fun," said trustee Donna Bagby in an email. "She and her husband, Herb Dieterich, loved our town and enjoyed a life here surrounded by devoted friends of all ages."

Sally was known for her generous support of many nonprofits, her love of animals and her easy expression of gratitude and appreciation of others.

"She was dedicated to keeping our environment safe and beautiful, and her love of animals was known to all. She felt it was important to support the people and groups who make the world a better place," Donna Bagby said.

In addition to her gift to Laramie Interfaith, she made substantial contributions to Albany County Public Library, the Home on the Range, the Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the Animal Defense Fund, the Wyoming Nature Conservancy, the Laramie Soup Kitchen, and Feeding Laramie Valley.

"We hope that the donation will inspire others to consider giving to Laramie Interfaith as well," said trustee Lewis Bagby.

The donation will support Laramie Interfaith's main mission of providing for basic needs through the food pantry and housing assistance, and the positive impact will be felt by many in the Laramie community.
