September is National Hunger Action Month, highlighting the ongoing issue of food insecurity in Wyoming. Laramie Interfaith has increased food distribution to support those in need. Gratitude is extended to the community for their contributions. Events like the Tackle Hunger Event and food drives demonstrate continued support. As the school year begins, the community remains united in the fight against hunger.

Laramie Interfaith is proud to announce their selection for a 2023 funding award from Rocky Mountain Power's Blue Sky program, supporting a community-based renewable energy project. This initiative, among twelve others, aims to inspire and enhance the community with sustainable energy sources. The organization looks forward to the positive impact of this project and invites interested parties to the upcoming ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 7th at 10 a.m. to witness their new initiatives firsthand. Last year saw the end of the Emergency Rental Assistance Program, and so was year of continual change. As we began the year working with the State of Wyoming, we helped more than 1600 households retain and/or find stable housing through the ERAP program. By June, this program ended abruptly forcing us to quickly adapt and find a new path for our housing clients.
