Laramie Interfaith is proud to announce their selection for a 2023 funding award from Rocky Mountain Power's Blue Sky program, supporting a community-based renewable energy project. This initiative, among twelve others, aims to inspire and enhance the community with sustainable energy sources. The organization looks forward to the positive impact of this project and invites interested parties to the upcoming ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 7th at 10 a.m. to witness their new initiatives firsthand. Community embraces renewable project made possible by
Rocky Mountain Power’s Sky participants
Laramie, WY - We are delighted to announce that we have been selected as a recipient of a 2023 funding award from Rocky Mountain Power's Blue Sky program. Our community-based renewable energy project is one of twelve initiatives that will come to fruition this year, all made possible by the support of Rocky Mountain Power's Blue Sky participants.
Laramie Interfaith is part of a network of over 200 organizations in Rocky Mountain Power's service region that have been recognized since 2006 for their community-based renewable projects. These projects encompass solar, wind, geothermal, and other sustainable energy sources. This not only reduces costs and enhances mission delivery but also inspires the community with community-based renewable power.
Blue Sky offers a simple yet impactful way for Rocky Mountain Power customers to champion cleaner, renewable energy in the region. As part of this program, organizations are invited to apply for community project funds, supported by Blue Sky participants, to facilitate renewable energy installations in educational institutions, community hubs, and cultural organizations across the area.
We at Laramie Interfaith are thrilled to be part of this transformative journey and look forward to witnessing the positive impact of the renewable project on the community.
Together, we are driving the transition towards a cleaner, more sustainable future in the West.
